Job Description This individual will report under the Finance
Department and serve as the business partner to the Ship Repair
Program Management team. This analyst shall allocate costs and
prepares reports that maintain the company's cost accounting
system. Ensure that costs are allocated according to established
procedures. Carry out miscellaneous financial analysis or ad-hoc
assignments as required. Investigate cost structures for new and
existing areas of the company. Price new services or products by
developing unit costs and projecting expenses. Prepares reports
that compare budgets with actual expenses. May recommend, design,
or develop revisions to the cost accounting system.Required
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting,
finance, or related degree with 4 years work or equivalent
experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience in program finance and/or other finance functional
disciplines particularly in the management of large government
acquisition contracts.
- Aptitude in project forecasting and analysis, particularly in a
US Defense environment.
- Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical
skills.
- Ability to communicate and present financial data to other
functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence diverse work
teams.
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload
in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying
with policies and procedures.Preferred Education, Experience, &
Skills
- Possesses finance experience in the aerospace/defense
industry.
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
- Experience in Deltek, Cost Point, SAP, or other equivalent
accounting software.
- Experience with Hyperion and Hyperion Financial Management
(HFM).
- Experience with Cobra, MPM, or other equivalent software a
plus.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $78760 - $133870Please
note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
