Job Description:
Position Overview:The Clinical Laboratory Scientist,
Microbiologist will be responsible in validating and creating
procedures for the Microbiology lab. This is a new specialty for
the laboratory and with the help of management and the Medical
Director, the lab will follow the leads direction in its setup and
process. The Microbiologist must also be able to perform laboratory
analysis on clinical specimens using established laboratory
procedures. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Microbiology duties
will include but are not limited to; processing of specimens,
performance of moderate and highly complex analytical testing,
establishing, performing, and documenting Quality assurance,
quality control, accurately documenting all work performed under
the direction of the Laboratory manager.
