Want to get paid to become an ear piercer at Studs? Apprentices undergo a minimum 6-week paid piercing training program inclusive of classroom style learning, observation, and hands-on training. We are looking for Apprentices to join our training program that will kickoff in December in our NYC studios. Upon successful completion of the program, graduated Apprentices will become eligible for Part-Time Associate Piercer positions at our -OC Irvine Spectrum -studio.Hourly Rate: -

• Graduated apprentices become Associate Piercers and make $31.25/hour, plus tips for their first 6-months post program
• After 6-months, you become a Piercer and make $33.65 - $35.65/hour, plus tips
• During the 6-week training program, apprentices make $16/hour, plus tipsKey Responsibilities:REVENUE -Service Oriented -

    • Becomes well-versed in piercing operating procedures and regulations to ensure client experience and work safety standards are met -

      • Provides solutions-oriented feedback and is open-minded to receiving it -Training Dates:
        • December 2 - 6: Virtual training from home
        • December 9 - 23: Travel to NYC for in-person training
        • December 23: Return home
        • December 27 - 30: Training at the Irvine studio
        • January 2 - 17: Return to NYC for additional in-person training
          Requirements:
          • 3 years of relevant work experience, including at least two years as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist (performing venipunctures and/or finger sticks
          • 18-29 hours per week, with required availability from Friday-Sunday
          • Must be able to stand for 8+ hour shifts
          • Must pierce a minimum 18 appointments a day
          • Must be able to visually inspect ear anatomy to execute advanced piercings -
          • Must be able to deliver piercings with a steady hand
          • Must be able to lift 20 lbs
          • Must be able to handle chemicals safely -
          • Travel to Boston, MA for the duration of the training program (paid by Studs) -
