Grumman Networked Information Solutions Division is looking for a
Principal Contract Administrator to join the Network Operations,
Sustainment, Support, & Modernization (N-OSSM) Operating Unit in
San Diego, CA. This position will require excellent oral and
written communication skills and will represent the organization as
a focal point on contract matters.What You'll Get to Do:The
Principal Contract Administrator will be considered a key focal
point on contract matters within the organization and must
demonstrate the skill and ability to perform complex tasks.
Responsibilities include:
- Administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate standard and
nonstandard contracts.
- Provide advice to management of contractual rights and
obligations, compile and analyze data, and maintain historical
information.
- Handle urgent situations from Northrop Grumman leadership and
U.S. Government officials.
- Participate in proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and
contract administration.
- Provide contractual advice in accordance with company policies
and procedures.
- Serve as an external spokesperson for the organization on major
matters.
- Ensure timely and compliant deliverables for all contracts
assigned.Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years relevant experience in
U.S. Government contract administration and management, or a
Master's Degree with 3 years relevant experience.
- Ability to effectively work with management of other
organizations and Government agencies.
- Demonstrated understanding of FAR and DFARS.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance.Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience in U.S. Government Department of Defense contract
administration & management.
- Ability to work independently and make independent
decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple
